The goverment has promised to solve the problem of fuel shortage within one or two weeks.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zlenskyy said this in his evening address.
"There are no immediate solutions to fill the deficit, but government officials promise that within a maximum of two weeks, a system of fuel supply to Ukraine will be provided, which will be able to prevent a deficit," he said.
The President also added that Ukraine should take as much fuel from the EU as "what is needed now for our citizens."
We will remind, the Kiev power urged inhabitants of the capital not to move by own transport without urgent need. This is due to fuel shortages.
On April 29, government approved changes to state regulation of petroleum products prices. This will allow solving the problem of fuel shortage at gas stations within a week.
