Russia may attack Moldova on 9 May 2022. "Public" informs that the British newspaper The Times wrote about it, - reported by Suspilne.

After a conversation between The Times correspondent and the representatives of Ukrainian intelligence, journalists report that russia plans to send an air-land team from the occupied Crimea to the unrecognized territory of Transnistria. At the same time, protests and riots are planned in Chisinau.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, there is some activity at Tiraspol airport - the so-called capital of unrecognized Transnistria.

At the same time, The Times reports that the data provided by Ukrainian intelligence contradicts the information from Western intelligence agencies. In particular, the newspaper writes that currently, russia does not have enough resources to pass through Ukraine's air defence systems in the Odesa region.

On 1 May 2022, the websites of several government agencies in Moldova suffered DDoS attacks from abroad; Russian hackers committed them.

Also, in so-called Transnistria, a newspaper was published about "bloody terrorist attacks," including an appeal to Putin pleading him to help. The newspaper is dated 2 May 20022. In the text, the "citizens" of Transnistria ask to join their armed forces with the russian army.

The General Staff of the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) warned that military forces of so-called Transnistria could commit sabotage operations in Ukraine. However, no signs of preparation of Transnistrian Armed Forces for the fighting against Ukraine were found.

On Sunday, 1 May 2022, russian propagandist Artur Shaikhutdinov was not allowed into Moldova.
