Two missiles flying over Vinnytsia were shot down.
The Adviser to the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anton Herashchenko, reported it.
He said another cruise missile approaching Kyiv was shot down near the Odesa highway.
The media also reported explosions in many cities of Ukraine: Odesa, Lviv, the cities and towns of the Kirovohrad region, and Dnipro.
Later, the City Mayor of Dolyna, the Kirovohrad region, confirmed the missile strike.
"The territory of our amalgamated community got hit! Don't panic! No panicking," he wrote.
Later in Vinnytsia, people reported ambulances and fire-fighter trucks' sirens.
Lviv City Mayot, Andriy Sadovyi reported that there were four powerful explosions in the evening. An air attack alert went on.
He addressed the citizens of Lviv, asking them to stay in shelters.
Also, Sadovyi said that a part of the city suffers from an unstable electricity supply.
Earlier, an air attack alert was on across the whole country.
