In April, approximately 1.1 million tons of grain, oil and protein meal were exported from Ukraine - significantly more than in March, when there were less than 200,000.

This was stated by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solskyy in a statement to the “Ekonomichna Pravda”.

“Business is actively finding new routes and opportunities for grain exports. It became possible due to coordinated work of the Ministry of Infrastructure, railroad system of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy,” the Minister added.

In March 2022, Ukraine exported agricultural products worth 842 million dollars compared to 1.9 billion dollars last year, but this year the actual result is actually much lower.

The occupiers are stealing grain in large amounts in the occupied territories.
