More than 200 Ukrainian servicemen have been trained in M777 howitzers provided to Ukraine by the United States.
This was stated by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, CNN reports.
More than 150 Ukrainian fighters are currently learning to work with howitzers, he added.
"Also, 60 Ukrainian servicemen have learned to drive M-113 armored personnel carriers, and about 50 more are currently being trained," Kirby said.
Another 15 Ukrainian servicemen were trained using the Q-64 mobile air defense radar system, a Pentagon spokesman said.
Earlier, the Pentagon said that the US military has begun additional training of Ukrainian soldiers at US military facilities in Germany.
