Today, russian troops used strategic aircraft and launched four cruise missile strikes on the Odessa region.

This is reported by the Odessa City Council on Telegram.

"The Odessa region was hit by a missile strike of four cruise missiles by strategic aviation. No casualties are reported, we will restore the damage to the infrastructure," the report says.

The residents are urged not to neglect air alarms, not to panic, and comply with safety standards.

Updated. The representative of the Odesa Military Administration Sergey Bratchuk said that the shelling was aimed in particular at Odesa itself.

"Odesa was shelled with rockets. At the moment, there is no exact information yet. We ask Odesa residents not to film or post what happened on social media. The enemy again showed their cynicism and meanness. Several rockets arrived, " Brachtuk said on the telethon.

In Odesa and the region, an extended curfew is introduced which will last from the evening of 8 May to the morning of 10 May.
