The russian Black Sea Fleet has completely blocked the Odesa commercial seaport. It causes problems for Ukraine and the world economy in general.

The speaker of the Odesa RMA, Serhiy Bratchuk, told the “Ukraine” media center about this.

“For example, we are talking about the export of Ukrainian grain, and we see that russia is trying to create some kind of mechanism to influence the states of the world because it is causing this food crisis. This grain was supposed to go to the countries of North Africa and the Middle East. But today it is blocked, it is not actually exporting. The grain that is in the occupied territory, in the Kherson region, is stolen and exported to Crimea,” Serhiy Bratchuk stated.

According to him, there are alternative ways of solving the logistics problems, but they have not yet been disclosed for security reasons. However, it will not be possible to achieve the volume of food shipments abroad, which was before the full-scale war, without the unblocking of the port.

Due to the russian military aggression, six seaports can not receive and dispatch cargoes. Only the Danube ports are functioning normally.
