The Cabinet of Ministers decided to create a delegation from Ukraine that will participate in negotiations with the representative of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to receive almost 1.5 bn dollars.
The Ministry of Finance press service reported that.
Ukraine's Minister of Finance Serhii Marchenko will head the Ukrainian delegation. It will negotiate an agreement on financing the project "Support for state costs to provide sustainable public administration in Ukraine".
"The funds will be used to reimburse state budget costs to ensure wages for public servants and state-funded educational institutions on the national level as well as on the level of regions," the Ministry of Finance press service added.
The World Bank is preparing an aid package of 1.5 bn dollars for Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated during the session of the World Bank that Ukraine needs up to 7 bn dollars of financial aid monthly because of the war against russia.
