The head of the Ukrainian government Denis Shmygal named 5 sources for filling the Fund for Reconstruction of Ukraine.
He noted that at the International Donors' Conference in Warsaw he presented to the partners the United24 platform, which is part of the Foundation.
Among the sources Shmygal named:
assistance from partner countries and international financial organizations;
assistance from large international corporations;
frozen, confiscated assets of russia;
contributions of individuals;
assistance from international humanitarian organizations and charitable foundations.
“Ukraine is already working in all five areas. The direction of assistance from the state is implemented through the mechanisms of the IMF and the World Bank, the contributions of individuals and companies will go through the online platform U24”, said the Prime Minister.
We are reminding, that in the beginning of April the Cabinet of Ministers submitted for consideration to President Volodymyr Zelensky the draft decree on the creation of the Fund of restoration of Ukraine. The fund will coordinate the accumulation of financial resources for the postwar reconstruction of the state.
Today, at the International Donors' Conference, Ukraine was promised $6.5 billion for reconstruction.
