Chaired by president Vladimir Zelenskyy, a meeting was held on issues related to the work of the executive authority.

This is reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal, Head of the Office Andriy Yermak, his deputies, and members of the government. The meeting participants considered the issues of fuel safety in the country.

As the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko said, the work is going on in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide Ukraine with a green corridor in the ports of Eastern Europe, which is now a weak point in the logistics of fuel supplies to the country.

They also emphasized the need to conclude long-term contracts and accumulate the national fuel reserve.

On 6 May, Ukraine and Poland agreed to cancel permits for all carriers engaged in international fuel transportation.

In April, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted amendments to the state regulation prices for petroleum products. This was supposed to solve the problem of fuel shortage at gas stations within a week.
