President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will deliver a virtual address to its annual meeting in Davos this month.

The forum will take place in Davos from May 22 to 26. The speech of the President of Ukraine is scheduled for May 23 - the opening day of the conference, reports Bloomberg.

In addition, Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko will be among the Ukrainian politicians who attend the event in person.

The world is at a historic turning point, and this requires us to address the current geoeconomic and geopolitical challenges with urgency and speed,” WEF spokesperson Yann Zopf said.

In his opinion, it will be an important ‘Ukrainian moment’ to discuss together with other senior Ukrainian voices across government, business and society developments on the ground and the future of their country, which will affect us all as a global community.

On May 10, the Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak discussed Ukraine's participation in this year's economic forum in Davos with WEF President Borge Brende. Yermak stressed the importance of using the forum platform to consolidate international efforts to end russia's aggression against our country, as well as to develop a strategic vision for Ukraine's postwar reconstruction.

In particular, it was a question of holding a separate donor event in the WEF fields to support Ukraine. The purpose of this event is to finance the reconstruction of Ukrainian settlements and critical infrastructure destroyed by russia.
