To conduct such an operation, the russian occupiers announced the beginning of registration for compensation for destroyed housing or the loss of a family member. In the case of housing, the compensation promised equals 500 thousand rubles (approximately 6 thousand US dollars) in the case of the deceased family member - 3 million rubles (about 33 thousand US dollars).
Registration of applications for compensation is conducted on the premises of the school №9.
"However, when submitting a written application, Mariupol residents must state that the property was" destroyed by the Ukrainian military" and their relatives were" killed by the Ukrainian army," - emphasized Andriushchenko.
If there is no such detail, the russian occupiers inform people that there will be no compensation. Therefore, considering the psychological pressure and the information blockade, Mariupol residents submit applications, including these details.
