The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry. The head of the Ukrainian ministry thanked Egypt for taking away the russian ship with grain looted in Ukraine.

Kuleb's conversation was announced on Twitter.

«We agreed to coordinate efforts to make russia unblock Ukraine’s food exports. Ukraine and Egypt keep working together to ensure food security», Kuleba said.

On May 12, a russian merchant ship loaded with grain previously stolen in the occupied territories of Ukraine was spotted in the port of Latakia in Syria. On April 27, the ship anchored near the Crimea and turned off the transponder. The next day, judging by photos and satellite images, it was seen in the port of Sevastopol.

According to satellite images and tracking data, the ship then passed the Bosphorus Strait, to the Egyptian port of Alexandria.

Egypt was warned that the grain had been stolen and the shipment was rejected. After that, "Sailor Pozynich" went to the Lebanese capital - Beirut, where the situation repeated itself.
