The Ukrainian Witness project has published a video of the consequences of russia's offensive in the Luhansk region and attempts to cross the Severskiy Donets River.

The video shows the remains of russian tanks. The Ukrainian military shows a whole cemetery of equipment with characteristic symbols - Z, O and V.

"That's where we f**ked," says one military man.

On May 5, the occupying forces of the tank regiment launched an offensive operation. Their goal was to capture the Lysychansk-Bakhmut route and restrict the connection of Ukrainian troops with the Luhansk region.

The fighting concentrated on the outskirts of Belogorovka, as a result of which the occupiers destroyed the settlement almost entirely. They also launched an air strike on a school with about 90 people inside.

The operation lasted until May 12 and ended in failure: the russians lost more than 70 units of equipment, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers. The loss of personnel is about 485 people killed or wounded.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as of May 19, Ukrainian troops destroyed 1,254 Russian tanks.
