The General Staff of the UAF (Armed Forces said) informed that russian occupation forces are conducting offensive operations in four directions - Donetsk, Lyman, Sievierodonetsk, and Bakhmut.

While doing so, they are suffering losses in both equipment and personnel; for example, as Tactical Force "East" informs, Ukrainian worriers eliminated 180 occupiers in the east.

According to "Forbes Ukraina" calculations, russia has already lost $ 13bn in military equipment in Ukraine; only during the last week did losses of the occupiers amount to about $ 400m.

MID (Main Intelligence Directorate) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informs that due to the critical condition of the ships, the marines of the Caspian flotilla of russia refuse to perform combat missions. If the quantity of those, who refuse to join combats grow, it is possible that the war will end sooner. However, as for now, the Head MID of the Ministry of Defence, Kyrylo Budanov, predicts that the turning point in the war with russia will come in August when our defenders will begin to use weapons provided by Western partners actively.

By the way, Canada will provide Ukraine with the most significant one-time aid package - 20,000 howitzer projectiles.

Speaking at the panel "Securing Europe" at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, announced the creation of an international advisory group to develop proposals for security guarantees for Ukraine. Yermak will lead the group with former NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

Andriy Yermak also informed that the European Union had approved the fourth tranche of military assistance to Ukraine worth 500m euros. "Weapons for our victory… We are grateful to the allies," - said Yermak, emphasizing that Ukraine needs "a lot and fast - we can no longer waste time."

That's right because time is not only money and weapons but also the future of the temporarily occupied territories. Kyrylo Budanov informs that the Kremlin, realizing that the scenario of "referendums" would not work with the people of Kherson, decided to annex the Kherson region to the Crimea and name it a "Tavria province."

Melitopol is engulfed in a real guerrilla war: locals say about 90% of the population somehow resists the occupiers.

The russians continue to kidnap civilians in the temporarily occupied territories for their pro-Ukrainian position. For example, in Melitopol, the occupiers kidnapped the founder of the humanitarian headquarters, Olesia Dorokhova.

The Adviser to Mariupol City Mayor, Petro Andriushchenko, informed that while clearing the debris of the destroyed multi-storey building, about 200 bodies were found in the basement. How many more such terrible discoveries await us ?!

The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories has updated the map of amalgamated communities seized or in the area of active war actions. The list includes seven regions. These are amalgamated communities of Dnipropetrovsk (6 communities), Donetsk (66 communities), Zaporizhia (61 communities), Luhansk (37 communities), Mykolaiv (22 communities), Kharkiv (51 communities), and Kherson (49 communities) regions. The list practically didn't change; only one amalgamated community Radisnyi Sad of the Mykolaiv region was added recently.

Meanwhile, this morning the russian military fired rounds at the enterprise "Azot" in Sievierodonetsk. This attack killed four people.

The Head of the Luhansk RMA (Region Military Administration), Serhiy Haidai, said that Sievierodonetsk is under complete control of Ukraine and that Ukrainian Armed Forces are defending the city though with considerable efforts.

Today the russian occupiers killed 12 civilians in the Donetsk region.

The occupiers took over Svitlodarsk, the Donetsk region.

The Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Viktor Andrusiv, wrote on Telegram that the Ukrainian military is retreating from settlements to avoid encirclement or heavy losses. For this reason, the UAF left the city of Svitlodarsk and the village of Myronivsky in the Donetsk region.

Nevertheless, Ukrainians believe in the UAF and return home from a temporary evacuation. The State Border Guard Service informed that since 10 May 2022, there had been more people coming back to Ukraine than leaving it. 2.2 million of our citizens have already returned from abroad.

At the same time, the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, announced a state of emergency in Hungary due to the war in Ukraine. "This war poses a constant threat to Hungary, threatens our physical security, and threatens the energy and financial security of the economy and families. Moreover, we see that the war and sanctions in Brussels have led to a tremendous economic shock and an upsurge in prices," - said Orban.

Because of Hungary, the EU foreign ministers could not approve the sixth package of sanctions against russia.
