The Ukrainian military is retreating from settlements to avoid encirclement or heavy losses. For this reason, the Ukrainian Armed Forces left the city of Svitlodarsk and the village of Myronivskyi in the Donetsk Region.
"We do not cling to specific settlements, but strive to inflict maximum losses to the enemy while maintaining our forces. This means that sometimes we have to retreat from non-strategic borders in order to avoid the environment or significant losses. Therefore, there is no betrayal," he stressed.
According to Andrusiv, such a retreat took place from Svitlodarsk and Myronivskyi.
"There may also be a few more retreats to level the front. Also, without betrayal. The situation is difficult, but not critical. Our forces are enough today," he concluded.
In the morning on May 24 the russian occupiers occupied the city of Svitlodarsk of the Donetsk region. Currently, armed invaders are walking the streets and checking the documents of local residents.
Yesterday the occupiers seized the neighboring village of Myronivskyi.
