Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi District Court confiscated Rosneft's assets. Almost 23 mn hryvnias were seized.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The funds are in the account of a banking institution owned by Rosneft and controlled by the aggressor country. Prosecutors found that the russian company used its own assets to finance russia's criminal activities and large-scale war against Ukraine.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted. The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine.
It will be recalled that Ukraine demands that Germany either stop or sharply reduce natural gas flows in the Nord Stream-1 gas pipeline.
