The russian federation has announced pseudo-humanitarian routes in the Black Sea for civilian shipping.

This was reported by the press service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that russia continues to ignore the rules of international maritime law, and russian shipping groups continue to block civilian shipping in the Black and Azov Seas, making them a combat zone.

Currently, two ships with a total volley of up to 16 Caliber naval-based cruise missiles are ready for use in the Black Sea.

«At the same time, russia is cynically announcing allegedly safe routes in the Black Sea for civilian shipping. Such a statement is a manipulation. The aggressor country cannot be a guarantor of security, because from the first days of the full-scale invasion, in violation of the security of civil shipping and international humanitarian law, russia has been shelling foreign civilian ships», the Navy said.

The military emphasizes that truly safe routes can only be those that are consistent with international treaties, where the guarantors of security are civilized countries.

«We will not follow the fictitious rules of the aggressor country, the vile murderer and the looter. Ukraine is an independent, democratic and legal state that adheres to the norms of international law, including international maritime law. We are not playing by the insidious rules of the enemy, who is trying every day to destroy us and our economy by blocking shipping and shelling civilian infrastructure. Whatever "humanitarian" labels they cling to themselves, the world saw the real face of russia», the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Neizhpapa stressed.

The press service also published photos of the civilian ship "Namura Queen" under the flag of Panama and the tanker "Millennial Spirit" under the flag of Moldova, both were hit on February 25.

The Center for Countering Disinformation notes that as of last week, the occupiers were spreading several basic examples of manipulation and fakes. In particular, the russian Defense Ministry said that russian troops allegedly open two maritime corridors every day.
