As of May 31, more than 1,500 people had been evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv region, - Oleg Synegubov, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, wrote about this in Telegram.
"All of them are already safe. They are women, children, the elderly, people with disabilities. Transportation was organized for everyone depending on the requests of the evacuees. They were taken by bus to logistics centers. Another 16 people were evacuated by railway," he said.
All evacuees were provided with food, medical and psychological assistance.
On May 27, the russian occupiers fired on Kharkiv from 2S7 Pion self-propelled 203mm heavy artillery with a range of 47 km and multiple launch rocket systems.
