The intercepted conversations of the russian occupiers indicate that the commander of the russian army was given two tasks - to capture Severodonetsk and the Lysychansk-Bakhmut route by June 10.
The Russians will try to level Luhansk region to the ground in the next five days, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai said on a telethon.
According to him, ukrainian defenders cleared half of Severodonetsk from the occupiers. Evacuation from this city is currently impossible. About 15,000 people remain there.
Today, 98 civilians were evacuated from Lysychansk in a covert operation.
Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine strongly resist the enemy in Severodonetsk. Still, it is too early to talk about the percentage of control over the city because the situation is changeable.
At the beginning of the week, the occupiers moved from the outskirts of Severodonetsk to the center and are keeping Ukrainian defenders and residential buildings under constant fire.
On June 5, the occupiers confirmed the death of Russian Major General Kutuzov near the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway, which they were trying to take.
