After capturing Severodonetsk, russian troops focused all their efforts on taking over Lysychansk, the last fortress in Luhansk Region, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Hayday, has said.

"Air strikes have been carried out on the city, as well as in the area of Bila Hora. There is a lot of destruction - Lysychansk is bearly recognizable. A TV mast lies on the ground, a road bridge is seriously damaged, shells hit houses, the SBU building, etc.," the report reads.

He noted that the body of a man without signs of life was found on the territory of a hospital. He had suffered numerous mine blast injuries.

The russians also shelled Azot and an Emergency Service training range in Severodonetsk, opened fire on the settlements of Pavlohrad and Synetskyy, and targeted the already destroyed and shelled bridges to Lysychansk.

Russians also caused significant damage to Volchoyarivka, Loskutivka, Verkhnyokamyanka and Zolotarivka.
