Three killed as russian rocket attack destroys car service in Rivne Region

A civilian infrastructure facility was hit.

The russian army carried out rocket strikes on Rivne Region on the evening of 25 March, the head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Koval, has said on Telegram.

"An air alert proved sad for Rivne Region. There were two missile strikes on civilian infrastructure," he said.

The rockets hit the town of Sarny, having destroyed a car wash and repair service.

According to preliminary reports, three were killed and four taken to hospital.

"Two of them are in grave condition. There can be more people under the debris," Koval said.

On the morning of 25 June, russia fired missiles on Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Lviv regions. Ukraine's air defence was activated in other regions too.

Russia fired a total of around 50 missiles.

For the first time, Russian bombers launched missiles from Belarusian airspace. According to Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, Russia is thus trying to drag Belarus into the war against Ukraine. However, the Belarusian armed forces have no sufficient capacity but Russia still has reserve battalion-tactical groups.
