As of 29 June, there were 2,331,000 underage Ukrainians abroad, who had to leave their homes due to Russian invasion, the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration has said.
The issue was on the agenda of the working group for the protection of rights and freedoms of Ukrainian nationals staying in EU member states and other countries as temporarily displaced persons.
It was noted that the language problem affects little Ukrainians' access to educational and social services, with the problem required UN-affiliated organisations' involvement.
The group also discussed consular registration of children and decided to hold additional monitoring of the process.
