Mariupol authorities have received confirmation that a Russian Black Sea Fleet landing boat D-106 blew up after tripping a mine, Mariupol mayor's adviser Petro Andryushchenko has said on Telegram.

"We have finally received confirmation that indeed on 30 June the Russian Black Sea Fleet amphibious landing boat D-106 of 1176 Akula project got blown up on a mine in the Mariupol waters. Three sailors are already singing fish songs together with Kobzon," Andryushchenko said.

Earlier, a representative of the Odesa regional military administration, Serhiy Bratchuk, said that a Russian landing boat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet's 1176 Akula project had exploded near Mariupol.
