Significant losses of Russian occupying troops in Slobozhanshchyna have been confirmed, the
General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has said.
"The 202nd and 204th Rifle Regiments of the 2nd Army Corps of the occupying troops involved in combat operations have been hastily withdrawn to the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Region and are to be disbanded. The remaining personnel has been distributed among the mobilization reserve units," the General Staff said.
In Novoaydar, Luhansk Region, civilian medical facilities are being urgently repurposed as military hospitals, as a large number of wounded Russians are being received. Even a children's hospital has been used for the needs of the occupiers.
Meanwhile, the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation has decided to replenish losses at the expense of prisons and state enterprises and institutions. They also removed restrictions on conscription for families with many children. In addition, regional battalions based on nationality are being created by force.
