Today, 27 September, the Navy's air defence destroyed three Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
These UAVs were to attack Odesa Region, the Air Force Command reported.
"On 27 September, at about 8 am, the air defence of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three of the three Shahed-136 kamikaze drones that attacked Odesa Region," the statement reads.
They added that servicemen of all the Ukrainian Defence Forces are looking for effective methods to counter barrage munitions and are gaining more and more experience in destroying kamikaze drones.
Russia has been attacking southern and eastern Ukraine with Iranian drones every day since Friday. The spokesman of Odesa Regional Military Administration Serhiy Bratchuk said that this indicates a change in the enemy's tactics: it is trying to save cruise missiles, instead, it strikes with kamikaze drones.
Yesterday the occupants attacked the military infrastructure of Odesa Region with drones, and before that - the administrative building in the center of Odesa. A large number of UAVs were shot down by air defence.
