A Russian missile was shot down over Dnipropetrovsk Region, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, has said on Telegram.
"Great news from our military. Our air defence shot down an enemy missile over the region," he said.
He also published a photo of a fragment of the downed missile.
The whole night on 26 September, the Russian occupiers shelled Nikopol District with multiple rocket launchers and heavy artillery. Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Myrove communities were struck nine times with a total of almost 130 Russian shells.
