Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated Shevchenkivka village, Beryslav District, Kherson Region, from Russian occupiers, the head of the Kherson military regional administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, has said on Telegram.
"Thanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian flag is flying over this settlement again. There are no more Russian occupiers here who terrorized and killed. The worst for these bright people is over," he said.
The authorities are working to make sure people can return to normal life, he added.
"We bring humanitarian aid from our international partners, people will receive pensions and other cash payments. We are also preparing de-occupied settlements for winter. We are working to provide people with firewood and stoves," said Yanushevych.
