Russia shelled the suburbs of Zaporizhzhya, the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Starukh, has said on Telegram.
"The enemy attacked the suburbs of Zaporizhzhya. Stay in shelters during the alarm! Follow the safety rules," he pointed out.
According to the secretary of the Zaporizhzhya city council, Anatoliy Kurtev, no "hits" were recorded on the territory of the regional centre.
"There is information about an attack on the suburbs. Our air defence is also working. The military report that all Shaheds flying in the direction of Zaporizhzhya were destroyed," Kurtev added.
He also noted that there is a threat of repeated enemy shelling.
On the evening of 2 November, sounds similar to those made by Iranian drones were heard over Nikopol District in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
