Russia announced its return to implementing the grain deal, which it arbitrarily "withdrew" from on Saturday, the pro-Kremlin media report citing the Defence Ministry.

After the Russians announced the suspension of the agreement, ships with Ukrainian grain continued to export. The UN stated that Russia's withdrawal from the "grain deal" does not mean that it is no longer valid. Therefore, UN inspectors will continue to check ships transporting grain from Ukrainian ports.

The vessels did not leave only on 31 October and today, 2 November.

According to the agreements reached in July, vessels with Ukrainian grain are departing from the ports of Odesa, Pivdennyi and Chornomorsk. Ships are heading to Asia, Africa and Europe, and agricultural products help some countries to avoid famine.
