President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation.
Zelenskyy said on social networks that he thanked his Turkish counterpart for his active participation in preserving the "grain initiative", as well as for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"We have discussed further steps on the return of our prisoners [of war] and political prisoners. Turkey's support is also important for us in this matter," Zelenskyy noted.
Yesterday Turkey said that ships from Ukrainian ports loaded with grain would sail under their flag.
Today Russia announced its return to the grain deal. Tomorrow, eight ships are scheduled to pass through the "grain corridor".
