Almost 80% of the population have left Kherson during the Russian occupation. Out of 320,000 residents the city once had, 60,000-70,000 have remained, the Operational Grouping of Troops Kryvyy Rih has said quoting the coordinator of the Kherson Hub HQ, Roman Holovnya.
"According to him, the humanitarian situation in captured Kherson is very difficult now. It is impossible to bring medicines or food from the occupier-free territory of Ukraine," the group said.
Russians have blocked all deliveries.
The Russian occupying troops have lately been deporting Kherson residents under the guise of "evacuation". They are settle their mobilised servicemen in the vacated houses.
