During the retreat from the south, Russian occupiers leave a large number of booby traps. They mine, in particular, the homes of Ukrainians.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook photos of the left mines with inscriptions in Russian saying "from the bottom of our hearts" and "from Russia with love". The photos were provided by the PR service of the 61st Separate Infantry Steppe Brigade.
"Treachery and baseness of the invaders know no bounds. They are absolutely indifferent to the fact that civilian Ukrainians, often with children, will return to the houses they mined," the servicemen noted.
The General Staff mentioned that Ukrainian sappers are among the best in the world, they know their job well and constantly neutralize deadly "surprises" of Russian terrorists.
Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration, also warned about the mine danger. He urged the residents of de-occupied settlements to postpone their return home. There are already victims of mine explosions in the villages that were liberated from the invaders.
