Today, the International Monetary Fund mission starts online discussions with representatives of Ukraine on a new loan program, the IMF press release states.
According to IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Vahram Stepanyan, the new dialogue will be based on the results of the meetings held last month in Vienna.
"An IMF mission, led by Gavin Gray, starts policy discussions today with the Ukrainian authorities to follow up on their request for Program Monitoring with Board Involvement, " Vahram Stepanyan said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine had made progress in negotiations with the International Monetary Fund. According to him, in 2023, our state expects to start a new large program of cooperation with the IMF.
