The 281st day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun. The enemy continues armed aggression against Ukraine and does not stop striking at civilian infrastructure, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war. It is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka areas, according to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, units of the Defence Forces repelled attacks by Russian invaders in the areas of settlements: Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region and Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Bakhmut, Kurdyumivka, Krasnohorivka, Kamyanka, Vodiane, Pervomayske and Maryinka in Donetsk Region.
To prevent the advance of Ukrainian soldiers in the Svatove and Lyman areas, the enemy is carrying out engineering equipment of the Defence line. The enemy continues the movement of personnel, ammunition, fuel and oil to equip and support new units and those that have suffered losses.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 2 rocket attacks on civilian objects in the settlement of Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhya Region against the positions of our troops and populated areas, including the city of Kherson.
There is still a threat of the occupiers carrying out missile strikes on the objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure throughout the territory of Ukraine.
In the Volyn and Polissya areas, the situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected. On the training fields of the Republic of Belarus, the training of individual units of the enemy continues.
In the Siversk area, the invaders carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Seredyna Buda, Bachivsk, Bilopyllya, Budky and Krasnopillya of Sumy Region.
In the Slobozhansk area, the enemy continues to maintain its troops in the adjacent territories of the Belhorod Region. The areas of Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Vysoka Yaruga, Strilecha, Krasne, Starytsa, Ohirtseve, Budarky, Chuhunivka, Dvorichna and Zapadne settlements of Kharkiv Region were shelled by Russian artillery.
The enemy is defending in the Kupyansk and Lyman areas. Enemy fire was recorded in the areas of Kupyansk, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabayivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove, Druzhelyubivka in Kharkiv Region and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makiyivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region.
In the Bakhmut area, the enemy will continue to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. Objects in the areas of Verkhnokamyanske, Spirne, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Opytne, Klishchiyivka, Pivnivhe, Zalizne and New York areas were shelled by tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery.
In the Avdiyivka area, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical position. Objects in the areas of settlements of Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Novomykhaylivka of Donetsk Region were hit by fire from tanks and artillery of various types.
The enemy is defending in the Novopavlivsk area. Shelling from the entire range of artillery was recorded in the areas of Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Prechystivka, and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Region.
The enemy is conducting defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhya area. It carried out artillery shelling in the areas of the settlements of Zahirne, Orihiv, Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Plavni in Zaporizhzhyaa Region and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
In the Kherson area, the enemy is defending previously occupied lines. Areas of settlements located on the right bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Region were subjected to artillery and tank shelling. The enemy does not stop shelling the suburbs and the city of Kherson itself.
A decrease in the number of Russian soldiers and military equipment is observed in the settlement of Oleshky. Enemy troops were withdrawn from certain settlements of Kherson Region and dispersed in forest strips along the section of the Oleshka - Hola Prystan highway. The main part of the troops are mobilised persons.
The Russian occupiers continue to use civilian facilities in the temporarily occupied territories. Thus, the invaders set up a field hospital in a school in one of the settlements of Zaporizhzhya Region. At the same time, during 28-29 November, the evacuation of wounded invaders by a convoy of trucks and buses moving towards Melitopol was recorded.
During the past 24 hours, the aviation of the Defence Forces made 17 strikes on the enemy's areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as 4 strikes on the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems. At the same time, Ukrainian units shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (probably of the Orlan-10 type). The information is being clarified.
Over the past 24 hours, units of missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces have hit 7 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, a warehouse of fuel and oil materials, as well as 5 other important enemy objects.
