Since the beginning of the war, the Russian Federation has limited the amount of ammunition used three times. By March, the enemy will face a shortage of shells, the chief of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, has told the telethon, RBC-Ukraine reports.

According to Budanov, Russia did not expect a protracted war and has been using very large amounts of ammunition every day since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. However, this figure has already dropped to 19,000-20,000 units per day, although the Russians started with 60,000.

Parity between Ukraine and Russia means that our country will continue to receive ammunition from Western allies and produce its own, while the enemy will soon face a shortage.

"Russia will soon face the fact that they can only rely on their stockpile, their own production facilities and what they can get abroad, but it will not affect anything. By March they will be in a critical state (regarding ammunition - ed.)," Budanov said.
