On the night of 12 January, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhya, as a result of the shelling, buildings were damaged, said the Secretary of Zaporizhzhya City Council Anatoliy Kurtev.
Infrastructure facilities were damaged, a fire broke out at the site.
"Civilian houses were also damaged again as a result of the shelling," added Kurtev.
According to preliminary information, people were not injured. Relevant services are already working at the place of the hit.
Update 06:46. According to the Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Starukh, detached houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the night missile attack in one of the districts of Zaporizhzhya.
The extent of damage is being established, all emergency services are working at the scene. According to preliminary data, all people are safe. A fragment of an enemy missile was also found.
Before that, the occupiers shelled Zaporizhzhya on the evening of 7 January, the outskirts of the city came under attack.
