Russians are focusing their main efforts on attempts to capture Donetsk Region within its administrative border, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff has said.
They continue offensive actions in the Bakhmut sector. The fiercest fighting continues in the areas of Soledar, Paraskoviyivka, Bakhmut and Klishchiyivka.
During the day, Russians launched five missile strikes (all on the peaceful cities of Kostyantynivka, Kramatorsk and Zaporizhzhya), as well as 12 air strikes. In addition, they carried out four attacks from multiple rocket launchers.
Ukrainian aviation carried out 15 strikes on Russian personnel clusters, as well as five strikes on the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian defenders shot down an enemy Su-25 and an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle.
Ukrainian artillery and missile units hit three command posts, three clusters of Russian manpower and military equipment, a Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missile system and three ammunition depots.
