The Russian occupying "management" of the Zaporizhzhya NPP is reducing the salaries of employees who signed contracts with the fake JSC managed by Rosatom by 45%, Ukraine's atomic energy company Energoatom has said.
"They explain this by the fact that the Zaporizhzhya NPP is shut down, its units are not in operation, and therefore there is no need to pay all the money," Energoatom said.
Earlier, the Russians announced plans to cancel their employment records and vacations earned in the Ukrainian division of ZNPP for those employees who defected to Russia.
"Thus, the invaders, without batting an eye, broke their own promises to the nuclear staff at the Zaporizhzhya plant, when they lured them to the side of the Russian Federation," Energoatom said.
The company once again called on ZNPP personnel not to sign any contracts with Russia in order to avoid becoming direct accomplices of the aggressor.
