On 6 February, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, his office's press centre has said.
The leadership of the Armed Forces and military commanders reported on the current situation at the front. Special attention was paid to the positions of the defence forces in the Bakhmut sector. The participants also heard intelligence reports about possible enemy actions in the near future.
In addition, the meeting participants considered candidates for heads of regional military administrations in a number of regions.
The meeting was attended by the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksiy Danilov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, Main Intelligence Directorate chief Kyrylo Budanov, and commanders of the military services and operational areas. The meeting was also attended by members of the government, heads of security and law enforcement agencies.
According to the General Staff, Russians are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka sectors.
