Ukrenergo (Ukrenerho) specialists have restored the power supply to Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), the company's press service reports.
According to Ukrenergo, ZNPP is switching from diesel generators to generating electricity for its own needs from the integrated power system of Ukraine.
At around 3:53 am on 9 March, Russian missile strikes cut off the last line of communication between the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP and the Ukrainian power grid.
Earlier, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi called on the organisation's staff to commit to protecting the plant's nuclear safety.
