Today, 22 March, three vessels with 112.4 thousand tonnes of agricultural products for Africa and Asia left the ports of Greater Odesa, the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure reports.
"Grain Initiative: The 17th vessel chartered by the UN World Food Programme has left the port of Odesa. The DENIZ M bulk carrier will deliver 30,000 tonnes of humanitarian wheat to Ethiopia. Under the auspices of the WFP, more than half a million tonnes of Ukrainian wheat have already been delivered to countries in need in Africa and Asia," the statement said. Today, 3 vessels with 112.4 thousand tonnes of agricultural products for Africa and Asia left the ports of Greater Odesa.
Among them, there are bulk carriers BC CALLISTO with 30,500 tonnes of wheat bound for Algeria and IOANNIS THEO, which will deliver 52,000 tonnes of wheat to Vietnam.
Four vessels carrying 122,000 tonnes of agricultural products are moving along the grain corridor.
Since 1 August, 833 vessels have left the ports of Greater Odesa, exporting 25.3 million tonnes of Ukrainian food to Asia, Europe and Africa.
Recently, the grain initiative has been extended for 120 days. Thus, Ukraine continues to export its agricultural products through its three deepwater ports.
