On 11 April, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Vadym Melnyk, director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, the government's representative in parliament, Taras Melnychuk, has said on Telegram.
Halyna Vasheka was dismissed from the post of deputy head of the State Audit Service of Ukraine.
In 2020, Melnyk was the head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. On 20 August 2021, he became the director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, winning the competition over 48 other candidates.
In addition, in 2014-2016, he headed the Investigation Department of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, and before that he held various positions in the tax police.
