Government approves appointments of Luhansk, Sumy governors

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the appointment of the heads of Luhansk and Sumy regional state administrations, Taras Melnychuk, the government's representative in parliament, has said on Telegram.

The following appointments have been approved:

- Artem Volodymyrovych Lysohor as the head of the Luhansk regional state administration;

- Volodymyr Mykolayovych Artyukh as the head of Sumy regional state administration.

It should be noted that on 14 March, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the dismissal of Serhiy Hayday as head of the Luhansk regional state administration.

Artem Lysohor. Deputy head of the main department of the National Police in Zhytomyr Region. From October 2021 to June 2022, Lysohor was seconded to eastern Ukraine to serve as deputy commander of the Joint Forces to deploy the forces and means of the National Police.

Volodymyr Artyukh. Lieutenant General, an adviser to the head of the Vinnytsya regional military administration. Artyukh spent 37 years in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served in command and staff positions from platoon commander to deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
