Over the past day, Ukrainian troops had 70 combat engagements with the Russians in four frontline areas - Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
Ukrainian troops repelled numerous attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka.
At the same time, Russia launched six missile attacks and 51 air strikes, and fired more than 30 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged. In particular, the shelling of Kryvyy Rih in Dnipro Region, Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhya Region and Beryslav in Kherson Region resulted in civilian deaths and injuries, and the destruction of private homes and other civilian infrastructure.
The Ukrainian command also reported that the aviation of the Defence Forces carried out 12 strikes on areas where personnel and military equipment were concentrated over the past day, as well as four strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed three Kalibr cruise missiles, 16 Iranian Shahed strike UAVs and two reconnaissance UAVs of various types. Missile and artillery units destroyed a command post, six clusters of weapons and military equipment, two artillery units at firing positions and six electronic warfare stations.
