On the afternoon of 19 May, three civilians were killed in Sumy Region as a result of Russian shelling, the regional military administration has said.

"Today, around noon, three civilians were killed in the Yunakivka community as a result of shelling," it noted.

According to the Sumyoblenerho regional energy distribution company, three employees were killed by a Russian drone attack while searching for a damaged overhead line.

The regional prosecutor's office added that the shelling was recorded at around 11.45 am. "The occupiers, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, hit a vehicle of Sumyoblenerho that was moving along a field road in the Yunakivka community of Sumy District. The driver and two electricians sustained injuries incompatible with life," the company's press service said.
