Over the day, Russia launched another massive attack - 21 missile strikes on the cities of Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya and settlements in Kharkiv Region, as well as 42 air strikes and about 50 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
In particular, the Russians launched four Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles (destroyed by our defenders), five Kh-22 cruise missiles, two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, five S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and four missiles of unknown type.
According to updated information, 21 of the 21 Shahed drones were also destroyed.
Over the last day, the Defence Forces aviation conducted eight strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, and two more on anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter and an enemy reconnaissance UAV. Missile and artillery units hit three clusters of Russian weapons and military equipment, three ammunition depots, 11 artillery pieces and a radar station.
Russia continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors. There were 25 combat engagements in these areaa over the last day.
