President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree introducing personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).
With this decree published on his official website, the president put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine of 27 May.
The sanctions target 51 individuals and 220 legal entities associated with Russia's war against Ukraine.
The list includes companies in the railway sector (for example, branches of Russian Railways, a construction company that serves Russian Railways employees, Zheldoripoteka, Railway Trading Company, etc.), MTS, as well as Belarusian Belavtomaz, Vitsebsk Plant of Radio Parts Monolith, Homel Design Bureau Luch, etc.
The sanctions also targeted the heads of the sanctioned companies, such as the head of MIT CJSC Andrey Sabaydash, Konstantin Maymeskul of MIT Geomatika, CEO of MIT Meomatika Andrey Gaysenok and others.
