During the day, missile and artillery units struck two Russian command posts, an S-300 air defence missile system, a personnel cluster, three ammunition depots and five artillery units at firing positions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its evening update.
In addition, the Defence Forces' aviation carried out 13 strikes on Russian personnel clusters over the day. The Ukrainian military destroyed 20 Iranian Shahed strike UAVs, as well as an Orlan-10 operational and tactical UAVs.
For its part, Russia launched five missile strikes, using Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kh-59 cruise missiles. More than 40 air strikes and more than 20 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems were recorded.
Russia continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka directions, where heavy fighting continues. There were 26 combat engagements over the last day.
Today Russians shelled residential areas of Avdiyivka and Toretsk in Donetsk Region, causing casualties. The enemy also shelled the village of Zelenivka in Kherson Region, killing an 80-year-old woman and wounding a 69-year-old woman.
