No other peace plans are currently being considered, except for the Peace Formula presented by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the head of his office, Andriy Yermak, has said in a conversation with journalists, LB.ua reports.
"No peace initiatives other than President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula are currently under consideration. All the countries that took part in the Jeddah summit supported the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognised borders. Further meetings of advisers and experts are due to take place within a month prior to the peace summit. We continue to work on the formula for peace at the ambassadorial level, so that each point is defined in a separate document. We also continue to work on the documents that we plan to adopt at the global peace summit," Yermak said.
He explained that Ukraine aims to increase the number of participants in such diplomatic consultations to 60 countries.
According to him, the next step is to hold a constituent summit, which should adopt the Ukrainian peace plan as a basis. Then there will be summits on each point of the plan in different countries of the world with the co-leaders of each of these points. Later on, a summit will be held to bring together all the participating countries and adopt a joint agreement.
Earlier, Yermak said that during the consultations in Saudi Arabia, different views were expressed on the principles of peace for Ukraine, but all those present had expressed their countries' commitment to the principles of the UN Charter.
The forum in Jeddah was held without Russian participation, although the Kremlin said it would monitor the event. The two-day meeting is part of Ukraine's diplomatic efforts to enlist the support of states other than its main Western partners. In particular, it is about the countries of the Global South, which are not yet willing to choose a side in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
